Before Woolloomooloo had a name, before the suburb lines were drawn, the Eastern Hill already had its waterfront and the public houses that came with it. Sailors, labourers, travellers — people who worked the harbour and needed somewhere to land at the end of it.

The Seafarer's Arms is an ode to those pubs and the culture they carried. Hand drawn and unashamedly tongue in cheek, the mermaid emblem does what mermaids have always done — calls you in from the water. Only this one has a beer in hand and no intention of leaving early.

Part of the Eastern Hill Goods line, it sits at the intersection of the neighbourhood's working past and its enduring appreciation for a good Friday afternoon.
