A high grade matcha from a 300 year old company - the famous Kyoto grower and processor, Marukyu Koyamaen who have been producing tea since the Genroku period (1688 - 1704).
This matcha is an intense jade green colour and extremely finely powdered. The flavour is rich, deep and long-lasting. Midorigi is a culinary grade matcha harvested from the second and third flush of leaves. This matcha is suited for matcha drinks, patisserie and used in desserts.
