The original Flight Jacket. Our A-2 Bombers are manufactured in the United States using premium goat skin leather. First released in World War II, the A-2 Flight Jacket is now standard issue with Air Force pilots.
Defining details of the A-2 Flight Jacket included the snap flap front pockets that was used for storing equipment and gear, hook-and-eye latch at the throat, epaulets, knit cuffs and waistband and a back constructed from a single piece to limit stress on the garment. Since the 1930s, this jacket still remains a sartorial favourite.
