The Blackberry honey from Wellington Apiary is an ultra limited release. Blackberry plants were declared an evasive species by the Tasmanian Biosecurity Act of 2019 and the importation, sale and distribution prohibited. As a result, most plants have been culled. This blackberry honey comes from the pollen of remote blackberry bushes found in the rolling hills by Poatina and bordering the Great Western Tiers.
