With the support of the City of Sydney, Footage After Hours presents Holiday Market this Thursday evening, bringing together fashion, gourmet food products and home enjoyments for the festive season.
The evening reflects an ongoing interest in products that contribute to daily living beyond clothing alone. Alongside our existing fashion offering, the Holiday Market introduces a growing selection of pantry goods, Australian producers, home objects and considered gifts selected for everyday use.
At a time where many retail spaces remain segmented by category, Holiday Market explores the idea that fashion, food, hospitality and home can comfortably exist together within the same environment. The intention is not simply seasonal gifting, but the creation of a broader experience around living, gathering and sharing.
Guests are invited to customise each gift from our curated offering of fashion, gourmet products and home enjoyments throughout the evening.

Looking back, Holiday Market became one of the earliest public indicators of the direction Eastern Hill General Supplies would later take. The introduction of pantry goods, Australian producers, gifting and life goods during this period laid the groundwork for the broader multi category approach that now defines the business.
What also emerged from this period was a different approach to gifting. Rather than limiting customers to fixed hampers or traditional food pairings, the offering expanded across tea, garments, pantry goods, home objects and everyday provisions. Customers could build gifts around the individual, drawing from the wider store rather than a single category. That approach continues to inform the gifting service at Eastern Hill General Supplies today.
