Marukyu Koyamaen Itteki-Sui Matcha - 40g

Marukyu Koyamaen's Itteki - Sui matcha is equally delicate in its flavour profile as the Aoarashi blend. The creamy mouth-feel, low astringency, bright hit of green and clean after taste makes this one of their higher grade ceremonial matchas and is favoured by the current shrine master of the Daitokuji temple in Kyoto (a temple with strong ties to the original Japanese tea masters).

Ceremonial grade matcha are given their names by a panel of Chasi (teamasters) that grade each tea. Itteki-sui '一滴翆' or  'A Drop of Jade' is a befitting name of this particular matcha as the flavours are harmonious, grounding, balanced and delicate.
