Since 2012, designer and interiors expert Victoria Hampshire and her husband Raffaele have created Capri Positano Sandals, a sandal brand that is firmly rooted in employing traditional 'artigianale' techniques by expert craftsmen in the Almafi Coast, and the insistence on using only the highest quality materials like certified tuscan hides, parts and accessories for their line of footwear. Proudly offering the 'original' Positano Sandal, the family of sandal crafters are a rare breed, and still choose to carry on the age-old practive of hand-making sandals with classic traditional techniques that date past 60 years.

Ever thought of creating your own custom sandal and owning a uniquely designed pair of footwear for this summer? If so, you'll want to come meet Victoria and Raffaele at the Custom Sandal project, this Sunday the 27th of October from 3-7pm. With the support of the City of Sydney, we'll be hosting this next installment of Footage After Hours: Meet The Maker with Capri Positano Sandals, and will be serving light bites and drinks while you get busy with design. Driving loafers and sandals for the gents are also available for custom.
