Toyo-Sasaki glass company began as a merger of two heritage glass manufacturing companies in Japan, Toyo (est. 1878) and Sasaki (est. 1902). Toyo-Sasaki debuted the HS range in 1967 as Japan’s first toughened glass drinkware brand.
HS or Hard Strong refers to Toyo-Sasaki's original glass toughening process that results in extremely durable and scratch resistant glassware. The HS brand has since set the bar as industry standard for drinkware across any diner, cafe or restaurant imaginable in the Land of the Rising Sun, after more than 50 years of servicing the Japanese food and hospitality sector.
In its continued pursuit of excellence, all of Toyo-Sasaki's machine-made glassware is made with 'Fine Clear' - an innovation of high-grade soda-lime glass material developed by TSG. In addition to its strength, Fine Clear achieves supreme clarity and brightness comparable to crystal glass which makes it an ideal material for glass tableware for both home and commercial use.

Care Instructions • Please hand wash with gentle detergent and a soft sponge. Do not use a scourer pad (including the non scratching ones) as it will scratch the coating. These tumblers are dishwasher safe. Do not stack heavy objects on this item when stored.
