Founded in 1950 in Katsuragi, Nara Prefecture, Nishiguchi Kutsushita has spent more than seventy years refining a single product: the everyday sock.
Today the family operated company continues to manufacture in Japan under the direction of third generation owner Isato Nishiguchi. Every collection begins with the careful selection of natural fibres including cotton, wool, silk, hemp and linen before extensive development of knitting structures that maximise comfort, durability and fit. Their objective is not to follow trends but to create products that people genuinely enjoy wearing for many years.
Working from the philosophy of "making your day extraordinary", Nishiguchi Kutsushita combines traditional Japanese manufacturing with continual material research to produce socks that have become recognised internationally for their exceptional comfort, restrained aesthetic and lasting quality.
