Started by Niels Stellan Høm and Carton Madelaire more than 50 years ago as a trading company, Stelton today is synonymous with Danish design. It was the collaboration in the mid 1960s with world renowned Danish architect Arne Jacobsen that brought Stelton to the attention of the design world. The resulting series "Cylinda Line" won numerous awards and has become a classic of 20th century product design. In the 1970s Stelton began a 30 year association with designer Erik Magnussen that set the direction of the company and produced a broad range of products.
