The collection is shaped by merged and convergent cultures across Southeast Asia and the Straits, with Peranakan traditions as a central reference. Emerging through long histories of trade and migration, these cultures developed through hybridization rather than purity.

Isle of Tigers offers a modern interpretation and representation of these conditions, expressed through garments, carriers, and everyday goods. Colour, pattern, and material choices are informed by lived heritage and practical use, translated for contemporary life.
