A nod to the striped awnings of provision shops once found under every HDB void deck in Singapore, and the carryalls used by ladies at the wet market, these bags pay quiet tribute to the everyday rhythms of the island.
Each one is crafted in India using recycled industrial gunny sacks, transformed into colourful nylon threads and woven into resilient fabric. The result is a lightweight, durable bag ready for anything from fresh produce to beach gear, from weekly shops to daily essentials.
Every bag is cut from a large continuous roll of fabric, so no two pieces are alike, some carry bold striping, others more subtle shifts. Handles may feature contrasting colours, and irregular fishing-line stitches reveal their utilitarian roots. What may seem imperfect is exactly what makes them distinctive.
Modernised for the pace of today, they’re built to carry you through the everyday - unfussy, adaptable, and ready when you are.

Please note • As this is a recycled material, variations in colour and shade may occur with minor imperfections such as weaving scratches, small holes, frayed threads or colour bleed. In order to minimise wastage, remnants are used so handle colours may vary. Due to the difficulty in cutting and sewing nylon fabric, measurements may vary slightly as well. When using these bags as long term storage for articles of clothing or bed linen, we suggest packing them in an extra layer to avoid colour transfer.
