Eastern Hill General Supplies is an independent Australian emporium based in Sydney, bringing together garments, Japanese tea, pantry goods, bags, objects and everyday carry pieces from makers and producers around the world.

Originally established through the long running Footage store founded in 2003, Eastern Hill continues a focus on thoughtful sourcing, small production makers, heritage manufacturers and products chosen for utility, longevity and character.

Alongside a curated global selection, Eastern Hill also develops its own in house labels spanning tea, garments, striped bags and pantry goods.

Eastern Hill operates online. We hold monthly in person sessions at out residency in Darlinghurst.

We work directly with producers and established suppliers to ensure traceability, consistent quality and reliable long term supply.

Some products are available in limited quantities due to the way they are produced, harvested or sourced. Tea, matcha and pantry goods are often tied to harvest periods, seasonal production and import schedules, while some products are produced in smaller batches throughout the year. Our garments, bags and accessories are also made in limited runs through independent workshops and smaller factories that prioritise craftsmanship and quality over large scale volume.

Many items are restocked regularly, though timing can vary depending on the maker, season and production cycle. As a result, some products may return quickly while others take more time between releases or arrive in smaller quantities once restocked.

Our matcha is sourced directly from established producers in Japan and selected for freshness, consistency and long term reliability.

Yes. Collection is available by appointment from our Darlinghurst collection point at 90 William St, Sydney.

As Eastern Hill now operates primarily online, pickups are arranged individually once orders are ready. Customers selecting collection at checkout will receive follow up details to arrange a suitable time.

Local collection is commonly used by Sydney CBD and inner city customers, as well as visitors staying nearby who prefer to collect orders directly.

Local delivery is available within selected Sydney CBD and inner city postcodes on qualifying orders over $95, including areas such as 2000, 2010 and 2011.

For customers visiting Sydney, we also offer delivery to hotels, serviced apartments and building concierges within these areas where suitable arrangements can be made.

Yes. Eastern Hill General Supplies ships internationally from Sydney, Australia to a selection of destinations.

If your country is available at checkout, we are able to ship to you. If your country does not appear as a shipping option, we are unfortunately unable to ship there at this time.

International orders are sent via Australia Post International services and shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and parcel weight.

Customers are responsible for any local customs duties, taxes or import charges required by their country.
