EASTERN HILL GOODS

Eastern Hill takes its name from the ridge that once connected Darlinghurst, Surry Hills, East Sydney, Woolloomooloo, Potts Point, Kings Cross and Elizabeth Bay. Before suburb lines were drawn, this elevated district was collectively known as Eastern Hill. The name disappeared around 1820. The character did not.

Eastern Hill Goods is the in house label of Eastern Hill General Supplies and a practical extension of the philosophy of Life Goods for Good Living.

Drawing from local history, urban observation and the rhythms of everyday life, the label reflects the people, places and shared experiences that shape Sydney and contemporary Australian culture.

Each piece draws from a specific place, habit, food culture, sporting pursuit or story embedded in daily life. Takeaway counters, ocean baths, public houses, tennis courts, neighbourhood rituals, Sunday nights and the overlooked details that define how people live all provide source material.

Designed in Sydney and printed in Australia, Eastern Hill Goods produces garments and everyday objects intended for regular use, repeated wear and long term ownership.
