To celebrate our 11th birthday, we’ll be welcoming Dan and Shoji from Artificer into the store this Saturday for a special in store coffee service.

Ahead of officially opening their Surry Hills café, the pair will be serving a selection of coffees throughout the day while customers shop in store.

After years spent working and roasting within some of Australia’s leading coffee programs, Dan and Shoji have recently come together to establish Artificer, a Sydney based coffee roastery focused on quality driven sourcing, roasting and preparation.

The focus at Artificer is intentionally straightforward. Quality beans, carefully roasted and prepared according to the characteristics of each coffee rather than forcing every roast toward a standardised profile.

It’s this level of attention and commitment to craft that made the project feel like a natural fit for the store.
