Footage After Hours Presents: Eastern Hill General Supplies

  • 1 min read

Prior to 1820, Eastern Hill was the ridge line that ran through Woolloomooloo, East Sydney, Darlinghurst, Kings Cross, Potts Point, Elizabeth Bay and Surry Hills. As residential living expanded through Sydney’s earliest suburbs, the area developed around the daily needs of the local community and the businesses that supported them.

With the support of the City of Sydney, Footage After Hours presents Eastern Hill General Supplies, a new concept centred around life goods for good living.

Built from the foundations of Footage, Eastern Hill General Supplies expands beyond clothing into a wider offering of pantry goods, tea, home products, tailoring, gifting and everyday provisions. The concept reflects an ongoing interest in objects selected for long term use and daily relevance rather than seasonal consumption.

The name Eastern Hill references both locality and continuity. Having operated within the City of Sydney catchment for close to two decades, the project draws from the surrounding neighbourhoods, their histories and the evolving culture of everyday urban living within Sydney’s east.

Guests are invited to meet the locals and become acquainted with the next chapter of the business between 4PM and 6PM this Saturday.

Saturday 30th April
4.00PM – 6.00PM

Update

Eastern Hill General Supplies would later become the unifying identity for the business across tea, pantry goods, tailoring, home products and independent makers. What began as an introduction through Footage After Hours evolved into the long term framework for the business today.
