Eastern Hill is home to many small businesses, and nothing strays further from the importance of the local pub. A direct descendant of the British and Irish pubs for early colonial settlers on the Hill, the local pub was a place of business for a variety of social services, including accomodation and sustenance for travellers, providence of rudimentary street lighting to the township and an active postal services bureau for mail for the township in the early days. Such was its importance, the local pub became a common meeting place of business, or social gathering for inhabitants on the Eastern Hill.
This tee pays homage to the tradition of "catch ups" at your local. The Seafarers Arms is a casual local meeting place on the Hill, serving up good times over banter and ice cold bevies.
