The Stringy Bark honey from Wellington Apiary is a limited 80-140 bottle release as part of their Small Batch range. This series allows Wellington Apiary to showcase rare and unusual honey varieties from across Tasmania. Due to the irregular flowering of certain local flora species the honey harvested can only be done on a small scale.
Tasting notes: This honey is a beautiful golden amber hue with a smooth creamed honey texture. Stringy bark (Eucalyptus Obliqua) has a distinct and intense gum flavour with rich caramel and warm savoury woody undertones.
