Paying homage to parachute pants from the 1940s through the 1960s, our version of the jump pants is a modern take on the jump genre of classic military wear. Call it a hybrid tailored cargo jump pant, if you must. Our pants feature classic side cargo pockets, distinctive of jump pants of old and also have button adjustments at the side tabs that allow for the pants to be cinched in for a firmer fit, but easily released to afford the wearer the opposite result, a roomier fit at the waist. A 2" waistband with a double button close at the navel is a reference to classic tailoring details that are synonymous with traditional tailoring sensibilities. Most modern cargo combat pants are rather relaxed in fit, because soldiers had to have maximum mobility in combat. The tailoring take necessitates the trimming of leg widths to achieve a more modern cut suited to both formal or smart/casual wear depending on the choice of shoes to pair, for a totally different effect.
Vintage meets modern in our take on an old military classic. Versatility is of the essence, and you can go either way with these pants. Twill replaces the heaviness of wool in our version, giving flight to our wearers. Enjoy.
