A Military watch cap style wool beanie to keep the head and ears during extreme cold weather. The knit is tight and the hat is long enough that one can fold it over the ears for a double layer. Coverage is adjustable as desired by varying cuff. Wool insulates even when wet, is naturally breathable and wicks moisture away from the body. This style was first introduced in the 1930s.
