The Signature Cotton Ribbed Socks are knitted in Nara, Japan from fine virgin cotton, creating a substantial yet exceptionally soft everyday sock with excellent durability. To achieve this distinctive finish, Nishiguchi Kutsushita uses a specialised speck dyeing process. Fine dye capsules are applied to the yarn before steaming, creating subtle tonal variations throughout the fabric that give the socks their rich melange appearance. The thick rib construction provides cushioning without unnecessary bulk, making them particularly well suited to cooler weather and everyday use. Compared with the lighter Boston Hemp Sock, this style offers greater warmth and a fuller, more substantial handle.
