John Smedley knits are produced utilising production methods and handcrafted finishing techniques that have been passed down through the generations with modern technology. 

This 229 year old family-own business still manufacture all their garments at their Mill in Derbyshire, England. As a mark of their excellence and quality, the brand was recently received their first Royal Warrant by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Much of their wool knits are made from 30 gauge (an ultra fine lightweight knit rarely produced by other manufacturers) extra-fine New Zealand Merino wool.
