Double Brewed Soy Sauce

The Shoda Double Brewed Shoyu - Nidan Juskuse Shoyu is made from carefully selected whole soybeans, roasted wheat koji and salt. The double brewing process is done using the Jisai-Shimikomi method where the first brew is brewed a second time using soy sauce koji. The result is a soy that is deep in colour with a rich aroma and delicate flavour. Recommended as a dipping soy for seafood and meats, this soy works well for long braises where a deeper soy taste is required.

Founded in 1873 during the Meji Era, Shoda is one of the oldest soy sauce manufacturer in Japan and has grown into a leader in the premium soy market.
