Marukyu Koyamaen Rindo Matcha - 200g

The Rindo Matcha from Marukyu Koyamaen is a well known culinary grade Uji matcha with a bolder flavour and bright, green notes. This harmonious balance of astringency and fragrance makes this tea an all-rounder to be used in baking and just as well in matcha lattes. As a culinary grade matcha, its leaves are harvested from the second and third flush which makes it suitable also from drinking on its own.

Marukyu Koyamaen's '丸久小山園', history spans 300 years, and epitomises a commitment to quality in tea production. Located in the heart of Uji, Kyoto, this esteemed tea grower, procurer, and blender boasts a private estate dating back to 1704. Their range of Japanese green teas are meticulously crafted through a combination of traditional and modern techniques and remains unparalleled in the world of Matcha making. From supplying matcha to top-tier hotels, shrines and temples, to tea schools, Marukyu Koyamaen's influence is far-reaching. Additionally, they offer food-grade matcha for confectionery, primarily distributed through upscalesupermarkets, ensuring their legacy extends beyond tea connoisseurs.
